World-beating Bugatti Veyron up for grabs
January 27, 2016
The world’s fastest open-top car is up for grabs at a leading luxury and performance car dealership but you’ll need your cheque book … and some!
For the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition, currently on show at the HR Owen showroom in London’s Berkeley Square, is priced at £1,795,000.
The car is finished in black carbon fibre with orange painted Arancia carbon fibre details and features black and orange leather and alcantara upholstery.
This eye-catching colour scheme was conceived for the car’s record-breaking speed attempt in April 2013 when it reached a speed of 254.04mph – making the 1,184bhp flyer officially the world’s fastest open-top model.
Of the 450 Veyrons built over nine years only 150 were roadsters, with just eight being world record editions.
The sale car was originally registered in October 2013 and has had one owner since, covering 1,130 miles over its lifetime.
HR Owen’s brand director for Bugatti, Anita Krizsan, said: “It was a pleasure to sell this car to its first owner the first time around, and we are delighted that our unique relationship with our clients means that we have the opportunity to help the car find its second owner.
“This is a fantastic example of an iconic car, which has been meticulously cared for in its life so far. It will make for a wonderful investment for collectors and enthusiast alike.”
Anita Krizsan is a leading authority when it comes to Bugatti and is one of the brand’s most successful sales people in the world. She sold a record 11 Bugatti Veyrons in 2012.
