Suzuki working on a brakes fix
February 12, 2015
Suzuki is currently in the process of addressing and rectifying the safety issue which resulted in the recall of its new city car the Celerio on the day it went on sale.
The Japanese brand says that delivery of modified brake components is expected in the coming weeks and they will return vehicles to customers as soon as is possible.
The problem came to light during an emergency braking test from high speed by a leading motoring magazine on a private road test facility.
Suzuki carried out an immediate investigation into the cause and suspended sales of the vehicle in the UK. The safety recall relates to a possible fault in the brake pedal release mechanism.
Customers with any further questions regarding their Celerio model should contact Suzuki customer services on 0500 0119590500 011959 FREE or contact their supplying Suzuki dealer.
