Motorpoint heads to Cardiff Bay

May 7, 2014

Cardiff Bay is the venue for Motorpoint’s first ever South Wales-based motorshow later this month.
The UK’s leading car supermarket will be holding the special day-long event at the famous Roald Dahl Plass in the heart of Cardiff Bay on Saturday, May 24 between 9am and 6pm.
Visitors will be able to see more than 40 cars of every shape and style on display and they are all available to buy from Motorpoint.
And for any rugby fans out there, there will be a number of the Newport Gwent Dragons and Ospreys players on hand to support the event as well as give out exclusive Motorpoint merchandise.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to test their mettle in a Formula 1 simulator for free, complete with triple screens, realistic racing sounds and sensations of speed, all delivered through a force feedback steering wheel and paddle-shift gearbox – just like those used by F1 drivers. The fastest lap time on the day will win £100 worth of John Lewis vouchers.
Russell Louth, general manager of Motorpoint Newport: “We’ve hosted a number of highly successful Motorshows in other parts of the UK and we thought it’s about time we did one in South Wales.”
