Hyundai announces i40 prices

Hyundai has announced that the latest i40 model will be priced from £19,600 for the saloon variant in entry level S trim with Tourer estates costing from £20,850.
And that price-tag is for a richly-equipped car that boasts standard equipment such as Bluetooth connectivity, air-conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights with dusk sensor and a leather steering wheel with audio and phone controls.
An SE Nav trim grade, priced from £21,600, is new to the line-up and introduces touchscreen sat-nav with rear view parking camera and parking guidance system, DAB radio, climate control with auto defog, heated front seats, LED front fog lights, auto dimming rear view mirror and a seven speaker sounds system.
And this trim level can be specced up even further with the SE Nav Business model, priced from £23,100, which adds keyless smart entry with start/stop button and driver’s seat memory function.
The flagship Premium models start at £25,600 and feature a panoramic sunroof with electric tilt and slide, 18-inch alloy wheels, luggage net, supervision instrument cluster with LCD colour display and lane departure warning.
The i40 also gets the Korean company’s Blue Drive technologies across a choice of three engines – 115PS a 1.7-litre diesel with six-speed manual transmission, a 141PS 1.7-litre diesel also with six-speed gearbox and the same unit with seven-speed DCT.
