November 23, 2015
Volkswagen is introducing two upgraded versions of its Golf Match hatchback featuring enhanced satellite navigation systems including real time traffic information.
The cars which are priced from £19,840 and available in both three and five-door body styles, replace the current Golf Match models and the first cars will be on the road in January.
All vehicles meet the latest EU 6 emission standards with the Golf Match BlueMotion Edition powered by a 1.0-litre 115PS petrol engine delivering 65.7mpg and carbon emissions of 99g/km.
The Golf Match Edition line-up is priced from £20,400 to £24,840 and features 1.4-litre petrol engines as well as 1.6 and 2.0-litre diesels.
The 1.6-litre diesel which costs from £21,405 for a three-door, five speed manual is the most economical of the new models with a claimed fuel return of 74.3mpg (99g/km).
All versions come with 16-inch alloys as standard and with the new sat nav system operating from a larger 6.5-inch colour touchscreen. The cars are also fitted with adaptive cruise control and anti-collision systems which are extras on most other models in the Golf range.
