Extra kit for the Eclipse Cross
January 28, 2019
A year after its introduction, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has passed the 80,000 global sales milestone and adds new updates for 2019.
First launched in Europe, Japan and then the US in early 2018, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has been a hit around the world, thanks to a fusion of SUV functionality and stylish coupe styling.
It was Mitsubishi Motors’ first foray into the Coupe SUV segment and is winning customers over with its style, with customer surveys proving ‘Design’ is listed as the main reason for purchase.
And this year, the model steps it up a gear adding the likes of Black Edition variants (limited to just 500 units); On-board Mitsubishi Connect telematics (Eclipse Cross Black Connected Edition); New machine-finished 16-inch alloy wheels (Eclipse Cross 2); Active Yaw Brake Control available for 2WD versions; Auto-dimming rear view mirror (Eclipse Cross 3 and 4) and a Lightning Blue pearlescent paint option available across the range
Yuichiro Hayashi, Chief Product Specialist, said: “The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers something truly different in the compact SUV sector. Coupe styling is combined with Mitsubishi’s SUV functionality and driving experience to create a car which is stylish, rugged and good to drive. Its global success is proof that the concept is resonating with customers around the world.’’
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is on sale in the UK priced from £21,290.
