Extra choice on efficient Evoque
April 21, 2015
The Range Rover Evoque is Land Rover’s fastest-selling model and now the company is really upping the ante with new variants priced from £30,200 arriving in September.
The 2016 model range will feature a fresh new design along with technologies that deliver better efficiency and lower running costs.
Leading the way is a new four-cylinder Ingenium engine delivering up to 68mpg in the eD4 two-wheel drive version.
The car’s exterior design has been updated thanks to a new front bumper, two new grille designs, all-LED headlamps, a tailgate spoiler and three new alloy wheel options.
Inside, there’s a new seat design, along with extra colour and material choices aimed at increasing the car’s feeling of luxury.
Land Rover’s new infotainment system, InControlTM Touch, is also introduced from the autumn with an eight-inch touchscreen and more applications than ever before.
In addition, a new Gesture Control feature is available for the first time on a Land Rover allowing the user to open the tailgate hands-free.
Prices start at £30,200 for the 150bhp Evoque SE eD4 2WD manual model and rise to £51,800 for the 180bhp TD4 Autobiography with 4WD. The Range Rover Evoque Coupe starts at £32,200 for the eD4 SE Tech 2WD model.
New features as standard include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, heated eight-way adjustable front seats, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers and automatic climate control and power-fold door mirrors.
