French car manufacturer Citroen and leading surf brand Rip Curl have joined forces to create the C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition, which went on sale at the beginning of this month.

Featuring unique interior and exterior styling elements to complement the adventurous nature of the model, the newcomer boasts Rip Curl graphics on the wings and rear quarter-lights, white roof rails and door mirrors, orange seatbelts, orange detailing on the audio speakers and orange-trimmed carpet mats.

The car also introduces the Grip Control traction set-up to the C4 Cactus range – allowing drivers to select different modes to deal with various types of surface.

Customers will also get 17-inch diamond cut cross alloy wheels with Goodyear 4 seasons Mud+Snow tyres while the engine choices are a PureTech 110 S&S or the BlueHDi diesel 100. Emissions are rated at 100g/km for the PureTech engine and 95g/km for the diesel.

Standard kit includes a panoramic glass roof and Airbump technology designed to avoid scrapes and scratches to the bodywork plus aluminium-effect front and rear bumper protectors, rear parking sensors, sat nav, a six-speaker MP3 audio system, colour reversing camera, auto air con, cruise control with speed limiter and tinted rear windows.

The Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl models will be priced from £18,480.
