A dinner date
September 13, 2010
On Saturday, November 13, The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is hosting a charity dinner in support of AAIR (Asthma, Allergy & inflammation Research), a small charity based at the Southampton University of Medicine supporting one of the world’s leading asthma and allergy research centres.
The exclusive evening will be held among the F1 cars and World Land Speed Record Breakers of the National Motor Museum’s collection.
This unique dinner has been made possible thanks to motorsport fan, Lee Barfoot, who has donated a fabulous collection of motorsport and F1 memorabilia, in memory of his son Neil, who died of asthma at the young age of 17. All the items including a Grand Prix Winners book, signed by over 100 F1 drivers, including 19 world champions, will be auctioned on the night.
F1 fans will know the timing of this event will add to the atmosphere as it coincides with the final race of the F1 season.
Tickets are £55 per person and numbers are limited so, to avoid disappointment, book early by telephone 023 80771234 or email [email protected]
