Updates for Audi’s A6 and A7 line-ups
June 2, 2023
The Audi A6 and Audi A7 model lines have been brought into the updated Audi UK portfolio for the 2024 model year.
In addition to newly designed trim lines with new-look front and rear designs, the luxury-class models now feature bold interior and exterior colours, new wheel designs, along with upgraded standard equipment.
The updated Audi A6 models will be available to order from June 20, starting at £43,965 for the Saloon and £46,115 for the Avant. The Audi A7 starts at £56,385.
Audi UK’s new product strategy is designed to reduce model range complexity while enhancing customer value through improved standard vehicle specification and new technology-focused optional packages. The A6 and A7 models join Audi UK’s first phase of revisions which took place earlier in the year and centres around three core specification levels for standard models and two for S versions.
The A6 and A7 model lines now comprise three trim levels – Sport, S line, and Black Edition – and improved standard specification. Matrix LED headlights with dynamic front and rear indicators, electric seats with memory driver function, Audi phone box light, Audi App store and camera-based traffic sign recognition is now standard across every model.
Each trim line is characterised by unique front and rear design elements. Audi’s single-frame grille with a honeycomb structure is the new defining element at the front of the vehicle. On Sport trim, specifically for the A6, the radiator grille is finished in dark chrome; the front stands out with new side air intakes and the rear with a redesigned diffuser with elements painted in Selenite Silver.
S line variants are also updated with chrome inserts on the single-frame. On the A6, the rear diffuser has been redesigned with diffuser blades painted Platinum Gray, while on the A7 they are finished in chrome. Additionally, S line versions of the A6 also benefit from redesigned side front air intakes with elements in matt black with Platinum Gray inserts, widened side sills, 19-inch wheels, plus sport suspension.
Changes also extend to the cabin, where the dashboard and roof lining are now finished in black. The multifunction sport leather steering wheel with shift paddles features contrasting stitching, including steering wheel grips in perforated leather. The footrest and pedals are stainless steel.
The S line interior boasts seats upholstered in Dinamica microfiber/leather combination with S embossing on the front seat backrests. The front and rear door sill trims with aluminium inlays are illuminated and feature S lettering in the front.
The S6 and S7 models are also enhanced with the updated design of the single-frame grille. Elsewhere, the line-up for the performance-focussed S models has also been revised with the entry point starting with Black Edition. Vorsprung remains the flagship specification.
A total of 12 exterior colours are now available for the Audi A6 and A7 models and their respective S derivatives. For the first time, the portfolio includes Arcona White and Madeira Brown Metallic. Grenadine Red Metallic and Ascari Blue Metallic are now available for the S models and the S line trims.
Audi’s new optional packages – Technology Pack and Technology Pack Pro – are introduced to the A6 and A7 model lines. They are available for all Sport, S line and Black Edition models, delivering added customer value.
The Technology Pack (£2,995) brings a wealth of additional equipment including a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System, multi-coloured extended LED interior lighting, 360-degree camera with top view, Park Assist with Parking aid plus and a head-up display. The Technology Pack is standard on S versions.
Building on that added equipment is the Technology Pack Pro (£5,995 /£2,995 for S6/7), adding four-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a USB-C in the rear, heated rear seats, Advance Key and Parking Assist Plus with Remote park.
