January 13, 2022
Fiat has announced changes to its ever-popular 500X and Tipo line-ups with updated standard specifications across each range.
The exterior of the latest 500X has been revamped, gaining the 500 logo to the front and the new FIAT lettering to the rear. It is available in Club, Cross and Sport trim levels and in two body variants – hatchback and the newly-announced Dolcevita soft top.
Club versions boast 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control and a seven-inch touchscreen. They are priced from £22,085. Cross provides buyers with a more rugged exterior and includes a rear-view parking camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and automatic dual-zone climate control. It is priced from £23,585 for the hatchback and £26,235 for the Dolcevita.
The top-of-the-range Sport trim has an Alcantara steering wheel, puddle lamps, body-coloured bumpers and side skirts, plus a colour TFT screen. It costs £25,085 for the hatchback and £27,735 for the Dolcevita.
All trim levels come with the efficient Firefly 1.0-litre unit with six-speed manual transmission.
The new Tipo line-up consists of three trim levels called Tipo, City Life and Cross and this car is available in hatchback guise only.
Tipo receives adaptive cruise control, electric heated door mirrors, a seven-inch touchscreen with DAB, Bluetooth, new 16-inch wheels and it is priced from £19,595.
City Life trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels, full LED headlights and rear lights, a seven-inch full colour digital cluster, fog lights, and driver seat electric lumbar support. It costs from £20,595.
The Tipo Cross features more rugged bumpers and roof bars. It also gains extra kit over City Life models, including a rear-view parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, auto high beam, integrated sat nav and body-coloured door mirrors. It is priced from £22,595.
