It’s a welcome return of one of the greatest sports car makers and the classic styling of the TF is a credit to the MG name. It may not be the most comfy, but come on now, it’s a sports car and that means fun! The interior is packed with classy features and the performance doesn’t disappoint.

IF neighbours are questioning a rather unusual rumble in the area, it could just be that the MG TF is to blame.
For the throaty engine of this popular sports car oozes power that will leave onlookers in no mistake about where the noise is coming from.

And although it still has the TF name tag, it’s a far cry from the last model to roll off the production line back in 2005 as this latest reinvention boasts a new engine, revamped interior, jaw-dropping exterior and an array of other modifications too.

But there is still no mistaking that it’s an MG with a real emphasis on the fun-factor of motoring. Okay, the ride can be a little jarring to say the least but wasn’t that part of the appeal of driving a sports car in days gone by?

After all, with climate change and warmer weather supposedly on its way, open-top-fun can really become part of our everyday lives again.

In a built-up town, the LE500 hugs the road with ease and its engine roar will attract the attention of onlookers, although at times the all-round visibility is a tad non-existent.

Then out on the open road, the TF springs into life. Speed and a seat-of-your-pants ride are guaranteed, although longer journeys could result in a trip to the chiropractor!

Inside, the mod cons include a CD player along with air con and externally, the main change to its appearance is the nose whereby the twin-louvred grille has been replaced by a sporty-type mesh.

All in all, the MG TF is always going to be for adrenaline-rush seekers who eagerly look forward to plenty of summer months on the horizon.
