Audi launches fastest Q2 to its line-up

August 18, 2017

Audi is broadening the appeal of its Q2 compact SUV with the addition of a new version that is the most powerful in the range and is also the first petrol-powered model to be underpinned by sure-footed quattro all-wheel drive.

The new 2.0 TFSI quattro 190bhp S tronic is being offered as an alternative to the 150bhp 2.0 TDI quattro model which was introduced late last year and is available in S line and Edition #1 specification.

It produces the highest power output currently available in a Q2 and can burst from 0-62mph in just 6.5 seconds – the fastest sprint time in the range. The top speed is 141mph.

Fuel consumption for the S line is claimed at 44.8mpg on a combined run, with carbon emissions of 144g/km, and the Edition #1 model comes in at 44.2mpg and 146g/km.

Both are offered with a high grade of kit and luxury features including LED headlights, an LED interior lighting pack, S line interior and exterior styling cues, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear pillar blades in matt titanium grey and front sports seats, Audi smartphone interface, SD card-based MMI navigation and Audi connect infotainment service package, light and rain sensors and Audi drive select already fitted as standard to all Sport models and above.

Prices for the new Q2 ranges from £31,760 to £36,750.
