Nissan’s new Micra range is complete
May 24, 2017
Nissan has completed the launch of its all-new Micra line-up with the arrival of the 1.0-litre 71bhp entry-level model.
It is the last of three launch engines to go on sale and Nissan believes it will account for about one fifth of sales.
The three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission which Nissan claims can return combined fuel economy of 61mpg with carbon emissions of 103g/km when running on 15 or 16-inch wheels.
The new 1.0-litre engine joins the 0.9-litre 90bhp three-cylinder turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre 90bhp four-cylinder diesel – both of which went on sale earlier this year.
Owners of the new Micra can choose from a range of personalisation options which allows them to modify the exterior and interior with components in a variety of contemporary colours.
Prices range from £11,995 to £14,145 depending on the specification.
