New Sleek Coupe model from Mercedes
November 1, 2015
Mercedes will be adding a stylishly sleek coupe model to its C-Class line-up later this year.
The C-Class Coupe will be a little longer and slightly wider than the saloon version on which it is modelled and also boasts a longer wheelbase, plus a diamond studded-effect grille similar to those on AMG versions.
There will be a choice of powertrains with four petrol engines and two diesel options.
The four-seater coupe will have a similar interior to the saloon with the dashboard centred on a tablet-style central display while higher specification AMG Line models will come with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, metal finished sports pedals and aluminium trim in the facia.
They will have 18-inch alloys and come with additional AMG style body kit such as sporty bumpers and sills. Options will include air suspension and adaptive cruise control but all models will be equipped with emergency braking systems.
In addition, all versions of the C-Class Coupe will have a smartphone connection facility enabling Internet access and will also be available with the Mercedes ‘connect me’ service which gives access to remote online facilities including emergency assistance and breakdown recovery.
